Whatever happened to the credit crisis?
Eri Kroh is one of the people in the United Sates that don’t seem to have a problem with getting a loan or a mortgage to build. The expensive gasoline, the credit problems the economic down slide, does not at all affect the rate by which this man, Eri Kroh amongst others is constructing mansions.
According to reports from the Los Angeles Times, many 20,000 and 30,000 square foot homes are being built across the country in fast pace. At least it’s good to know that some people are making money. In Bel-Air man, Eri Kroh has applied for a series of permits to build a 30,000 square foot home with Pacific Ocean views. In order to build it he must fill in a whole canyon to make sure the soon to be palace will have a steady bearing. Imagine what the heating bill would be for home the size of that. Well, Eri Kroh is not like you and me. He doesn’t get deterred by the prices of gas, or how to get a mortgage. These are the people that will benefit from the crisis and will at the end of it all be richer than before. Eri Kroh has been characterized as a mega-mansion builder, and correctly the news comes to remind us that when we think twice before we take our car to work, some people are thinking and trying to decide whether they should install gold or platinum doorknobs.
