Water Powered Electric Car

Genepax created the first water car, an automobile with an electric engine that runs on water. In other words it is an electric car that uses water as fuel. Clear, regular tap or not plain old water. It works by supplying air and water to an electrode engine and it works in a similar way to standard fuel cells. The particular electric car is very different than other electric cars. Alternative energy sources have gone a long way in the past few years but this Japanese water powered cars is surely something we haven’t seen before. It works with something called a membrane electrode assembly that literally breaks down water to hydrogen and oxygen. Driving your car will be like planting a tree; environmentally friendly, super eco friendly cars. Genepax, the Japanese company unveiled the 300W eco-friendly car with a demonstration today. The cost of the water powered car will be low and do will its price. Once it gets in mass production it will cost about 5,000 Us dollars. It is a car that runs on water and has absolutely no emissions. The prototype was presented in a show in Osaka, Japan. It is an electricity powered car and is one hundred percent eco-friendly. The Genepax will run on any kind of water even dirty water from rain or even the sea. One litter of water is enough to get the car running at top speed at 80km/h. Genepax is in the process of getting the patent for the car and is negotiations with Japanese car manufacturers. A car that runs on water…it sounds too good to be true. Maybe it is. Imagine if one day every car in the world was running on water. Yes, the Genepax will definitely lower emissions, but how much would it cost to buy water. If water consumption multiplied tenfold how much would it cost? These are some things to think about the Genepax car, but overall the water powered car is great news. A water powered car would mean no more gasoline, no more fumes just clean energy. A car is only the begining, ,water powered trucks, water power aircrafts and so one. With water as an energy source they sky is the limit. Genepax has done a great job with the water energy car. I am really looking forward to more news and details concerning the water powered car from Genepax.

Genepax electric water power car seems to be the way to go. I have a feeling big oil companies wont let this car come on the market for a long time…I really hope they let the genepax as soon as possible. I wonder if I could find photos of this water powered car

There seems to be a lack of elementary redox chemistry knowledge in almost all of the press releases surrounding the Genepax car. To convert the water to hydrogen and oxygen gases using a fuel cell you need to drive this reaction with an external energy source… e.g. plugging the car into mains power. If the decay of water naturally produced energy don’t you think it would be flammable? Water is the final product of combustion.

I consider the lack of mention about a power source in the Reuters press release irresponsible and sensationalist.

Jason is correct. Water cannot possibly be the source of energy here. You need to spend at least as much energy on dissociating water into hydrogen and oxygen in the onboard “energy generator” as you will get back when you subsequently use the hydrogen to generate electricity to power the car’s motor.

Their claim is that the car requires “no external input” to run, except water. If that were true, it would violate the laws of physics and chemistry. Most likely, the dirty little secret is that the car will need to be plugged in to the electric grid. The pollution will be produced by your electric company which will burn oil or coal to generate your electricity.

It is amazing to realize how ignorant the public and the media are about these things. Perhaps they will be interested in a bridge I’ve got for sale.

Can anybody tell me is the HHO Gas is real working or is another scam?

hi there, I use water to fuel a car as a supplement to gasoline. In fact, very little water is needed, only one quart of water provides over 1800 gallons of HHO gas which can literally last for months and significantly increase your car fuel efficiently, improve emissions quality, and save money. I found the way through this site http://www.runcarsonwater.us i really recommend it to everybody, it’s a nice ebook where you can find the instructions on how to do it! take a look.
