The Eagleman triathlon, as part of the Ironman series of contests ended yesterday June 8 with a win by a California triathlete. The name of the winner of the eagleman triathlon is Paul Amey.
Aside from the fact that the triathlon is not an easy race to begin with, triathletes this year had to deal with extreme heat and humidity that is not uncommon for Cambridge, Maryland, USA where the race was held. The weather was hot and humid with almost no wind at all and was the real obstacle for the athletes. Paul Amey from California managed to beat everyone else and trake the first place amongst the other pro athletes. The eagleman triathlon, was formerly known as the Oxford Triathlon in 1980, because the founder was from Oxford Maryland. The race only moved to Cambridge in 1990. It really is an endurance race, sometimes I don’t understand how these athletes do it. What does it take to win the eagleman triathlon? Probably months, years of preparation in many different sports, endurance exercises for the Athletes to get in pristine shape. It was a great race this year, like every other year, one things is for certain, that when it comes to races, you can always count on the eagleman triathlon to amaze you.
